Not as big as this one, but, my SHOWER! I smooshed it.

See, the thing about Florida is, it's safest to assume that *everything* is poisonous. Funnily enough, I used to have a 'pet' spider. It was a daddy long leg, which are cute and harmless. They eat other spiders. :)Amberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09002997517784638068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5080372433953859587.post-4856088770846662162011-06-28T16:06:37.791-04:002011-06-28T16:06:37.791-04:00Haha God willing it will not return!
When I was ...Haha God willing it will not return!

When I was about 11-12 years old I used to catch (small) spiders in my hand and show them to the girls in class... guess who wasn't popular :P haha

But since then, I've gotten more cautious from travelling abroad. We have no poisonous spiders (or snakes or anything else) in Denmark, so they're all safe, but when I'm abroad... I freak out about them.Rebekka @ Becky's Kaleidoscopehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08561986047548051036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5080372433953859587.post-24496164398010519292011-06-23T22:21:16.219-04:002011-06-23T22:21:16.219-04:00Sarah,

They're evil and creepy looking!

I'm counting on the power of positive thinking here. It's as big as my *hand*!

Your spider story is cute!Amberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09002997517784638068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5080372433953859587.post-82374583198579788042011-06-23T17:57:09.262-04:002011-06-23T17:57:09.262-04:00I don't like them at all, either. That was lucky... most of the time they're not so easy to trap. I hope yours doesn't reappear!Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11320601087412404116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5080372433953859587.post-15787703974994298002011-06-23T16:35:29.682-04:002011-06-23T16:35:29.682-04:00Ha! No big deal, right? Not much later I felt itchy...like a string on my shirt was tickling my skin so I go to remove it.

It's a spider! Crawling near my neck! Thankfully spiders don't freak me out..I just removed it and squashed it with my fingers. All done.Susannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03115294023069458287noreply@blogger.com
