I didn't even make it through the H's, but my grand total for 2010 is 272. Which is 137 more than 2009. Maybe for 2011 I can hit 300! And, for the heck of it I've decided to keep track of what movies I watch this year. So that'll be movies in the theater, movies on tv, movies I have on disc and seasons of tv shows I have on disc. Because the rules are what I say they are. :)

What was your favourite and why?
ReplyDeleteI am currently reading "living the good life" by Linda Cockburn.
its the start of my non-fiction, save the planet mode of thinking that I am in at present.
Wow! That's a lot of books? Do you write them down or use any program to keep track? I use goodreads but I'm not sure there's a way to make an exportable list of what I read in a given year. Ooh, there is! Turns out I only read 49. Still, off to write a blog post.
ReplyDeletePS: "That's a lot of books" was meant to have an exclamation point, not a comma.
ReplyDeleteAnd I was so proud of my 81 until I read this. (I think I stop to talk about mine too much..yeah,that's it. Ha ha!) You must never ever sleep in order to read all this, plus watch movies, TV,sleep, eat, work, exercise...you know, live. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, I'd like to know your favorites and/or worst/ones I would never recommend? Can you do a post citing your favorites from the various genres?
Fantastic list!
Slice,
ReplyDeletemmm....my favorite? That's hard. I love a lot of them for different reasons. Favorite paranormal fiction would have to be Changes by Jim Butcher because, well. He's just that great of a writer and I love all of his work. Favorite random fiction would be The Red Tent I think.
Favorite non-fiction is probably The Dark Sacrament and that's just because I have a perverse love of demon/possession tales that are true.
Zuhura,
ReplyDeleteFor this I just make a list. I have a librarything account to keep track of all the books I own and I rate them, etc. on there. But since I get rid of books that I don't like after I've read them just keeping a list in word is easiest.
Susanne,
ReplyDeleteWell you've stumbled onto the secret there. I don't have a life! :)
I read all the time. I read at the gym when I'm on the treadmill. I read when I'm eating unless forced to interact with actual humans. I read while watching tv. So I guess it's more that I listen to the tv as opposed to actually watching it. I read all. the. time.
Recs are tricky things. It's hard to rec without knowing what people are in to. What I love may not appeal to others.
