Badly Drawn Real Life - Someone, Somewhere, Is Being Wrong

For those who can't read my awful handwriting: The blue figure's bubble says: 'Completely wrong statement'. My (red) thought bubble says: 'Don't be a know-it-all...don't be a know-it-all...'

At the top it says: 2 seconds later. And then my word bubble says: 'You are wrong. Let me tell you all about your wrongness.'

Ps: I was called a know it all today.
Yes, I am burdened with glorious knowledge.

    1. We were talking about the recent reports of infants being infected with herpes due to ultra-Orthodox rabbi's sucking the blood off of the circumcision wound with their mouth. And she said 'All religions are related to Judaism' in response to someone telling another party (who was not in the conversation at the time) that the discussion was 'related' to her religion (she's a Christian). I just said that not all religions are related to Judaism and the Christian who wasn't in the conversation in the first place said that I was a know it all.

Personally I think she's just bitter because I asked her to explain the difference between an interdenominational church and a nondenominational church (she's very proud of her 'leadership' position at her interdenominational church) and she couldn't do it. Which, admittedly, was me trolling her a little because of course I already know the difference but she's just so freaking obnoxious...

...and I may have problems with her being a hypocrite. Maybe.

      I'm so judgy.

      And full of knowledge.

  2. you crack me up. I nearly freaked out at work today because of nasty back stabbing people. Worse I sat there in silence and then they all kept asking if I was alright. Yeah they really pooped on their own doorstep. from now on they can all do their own work. I wont be picking up extra work where they are being lazy and slow. oh no. they can do their own damn work.

It would seem that they see silence as deadly or something. maybe try that on them

    1. Most people at work know better than to irritate me. I'm a nice, calm individual, I really am. But if you sincerely piss me off? Passive aggressive relation lasts for *years*. It helps that I'm in charge of the office supplies. You have no idea how much power rests in the office supply closet.

  3. LOL what is the difference between an interdenominational church and a nondenominational? I've never heard of an interdenominational church.

    I enjoy your stick people.

    1. My understanding is that there's not a whole hell of a lot of difference between the two. Nondenominational is a church that shuns the denomination labels and the people within it tend to be from a variety of denominational backgrounds who have (for whatever reason) left their original church.

Interdenominational are more of an attempt at reuniting the different denominations, like an ecumenical outreach.

My stick people are awful, we all know it. :p

  6. I have just read the title again properly, my OH has a saying when someone is going on and he knows they aren't tight he says

'one of us is wrong, and its not me'. he then seems to just walk off. point made, no need for argument.

and then there is also the thing that, why argue with an idiot, in their head they are always right. proving that they are stupid by not even considering alternatives.

    1. I wish I could do that, honestly. I need to be able to learn to do that, just walk away. But I have a real problem with that. I don't like being wrong. I like knowing things and there's something about me that makes me assume that other people would like to benefit from my knowledge. I don't do it to be a jerk, or to make people feel stupid, I just figure that people would like to know the correct information rather than wander around being wrong.

And if I'm not sure of my info then I say 'Well I heard/think...' etc.

But I can't just walk away. It's a character flaw.
