If you don't voice your opinion, I'm going to assume you're down for all doll house posts all the time

For the record, I'm still riding high from the doll house anticipation.

It's apparently confusing and freaking out my best friend who never realized that I liked doll houses at all. She thinks I might have been replaced by a pod person. Which just goes to show you that you never really know someone, do you?

So 2013 is just around the corner and I've been blogging for what feels like a very long time, about four and a half years (yes, I totally just went and looked).

For the five of you that put up with my insanity on a regular basis, is there anything that you'd like to see more or less of in the new year? I want to keep up with blogging more and I figure you guys deserve some kind of reward for putting up with me for this long. So have some input!

ps: I have to warn you guys that there is a high likely hood of the doll house and doll house related items content of this blog going up if this deal goes through. Because I've never built a doll house before and I will document the shit out of my obsessions. As you do.

  1. I think I remember you talking about doll houses a couple years ago, actually. But then deciding not to start that as a hobby because, like you mentioned in the last post, crazy expensive.

I like to look at doll houses, but I'm way too lazy and scatterbrained to consider collecting something like that. I'd do it for like half a year and pour too much money into it that I can't really afford to spend, and then forget about it for three years after that.

About what I'd like to see more of...well, the reason I keep reading your blog is because I like to read your posts as it is. So...more of you? :D That's really it.

And more doll house posts are extremely welcome. Because then it doesn't matter that I will never start doing things like that, I can live vicariously through you and other people who document their hobbies online!

    1. I think I did mention it once on the blog! Good memory! :D

Yeah, expensive but I'm looking at this as a long term project. The price of the kit is kind of un-pass-up-able really, and she's also selling a 'crate' full of extra building supplies for $10. She's got some furniture too but I'm waiting to see pictures to see if I want any of that. So I start with the kit which means I have to do all the painting, staining, etc. before I even build the house and then after that's done I can start putting things in it. But I'm not going to go all crazy and buy a punch of stuff all at once. I'm going to take my time. Maybe even learn to make my own doll house things!

More of me? I'm not sure the world could handle more of me. ;)

Feel free to live vicariously through me whenever you like!

  2. I agree with Sanil. I like hearing whatever you like to share. I'm enjoying your Quran lessons and random stuff from your life. And I'm sure I'll enjoy reading about your doll house.

The bottom line: just post! :)

  4. I'm a relative newb here, but I like when people get passionate about things. If that means hearing more about dollhouses, so be it. If that means hearing more about your toe jam, well...I may have to rethink that.

    1. I promise there will be no toe jam posts.

Feet are gross. Unless they're my feet. I have cute toes. But I'm not going to be bragging about that or anything.

But in general, feet are gross.

See: why I can't look below the waists of the hobbits.
