  1. Happy New Year!
Wow - that is less than 3 days per book, on average. I am a really slow reader - I just can't get my head around that at all!

  5. Sarah,

    Happy New Year!

Yeah, I do read kind of fast, I guess. But I read every free moment I get. I *always* have a book on me, so that contributes. :)

  6. Slice,

    Hmmm...top three....

I'm going to have to say Turn Coat and First Lord's Fury, both by Jim Butcher, and Naamah's Kiss by Jacqueline Carey.

  7. Susanne,

It's cause I have no life. :) Not going out at night with friends frees up a lot of reading time.

  8. LK,

See, and I was disappointed in the final number. I wanted to make it to 150. :(

Yes, yes you should. It's be interesting to look back at the end of the year.

  9. Good job! I've been reading Jacqueline Carey's books, too -- I'm working on "Kushiel's Avatar" right now. I want to recommend the Kitty Norville series by Carrie Vaughn, and the werecats series by Rachel Vincent, too. They're both very good. The newest Kitty book, Kitty's House of Horrors, is the best one in the series so far. : ) I'm going to write down the books I read this year. It would interesting to see how many I read. : )

  10. Heather,

Oh, Jacqueline Carey is just...I love her. I really, really do. It's just a gorgeous world she's created.

I have the first few of that Kitty Norville series in my 'to be read' stack(s). I'm going to be honest and admit that were-whatever's are not really my thing. Throw them in a world with good vampire mythology, and I'm there. But shifters by themselves...not so much. I'm specific that way. :)
