2nd Annual Book Give Away

(By 'annual', I actually mean whenever I feel like it, or my 'books I'm not keeping nook' gets fullish. I feel free to abuse the English language as I see fit. :p)

I have books I no longer want, for one reason or another. I wish to give them away. I could trade them in to a used bookstore, but since the end goal is a tightening and consolidating of my collection, and trading in means getting more books, I think this is the best way.

This is how it works:

1. Comment listing which books you want.

2. Email me which books you want and an address I can mail them to (sadly, my ability to mail outside of the states is on hold at the moment, so if you live anywhere but the US, unless you have someone in the US I can ship to who is willing to pass them on, I can't get the books to you) at akelios @ (remove the spaces). I'm having you comment so that others will know if the books are already taken, since this is a first come, first serve kind of thing.

3. I will email you back confirming the books and then mail them out as soon as possible. No charge, not even for postage, as I still have access to free domestic shipping.

Right then. On to the books:

Horror (this is actually all one series):
The Time of Feasting - Mick Farren
Darklost - Mick Farren
More Than Mortal - Mick Farren
Underland - Mick Farren

Sea Dragon Heir - Storm Constantine

  1. How generous! Have you ever thought of selling on Amazon? You could make quite a bit with all those books.

Being in the UK I don't qualify for your free giveaway which is probably just as well as I still have a whole bunch of books to read and am still slow at reading! ;)

  2. How sweet of you! I'd like this one:

Abraham's Children: Race, Identity, and the DNA of the Chosen People - Jon Entine

Thanks! Do you still have my address from the first annual book give away? :D

  3. also being in th uk I cant take any off your hands. but I will admit, seeing all the Janet Evanovich books made my heart raise.

  4. James Bond! :D Could I get Casino Royale and Live and Let Die? Oo, also God is Not Great?

For people reading the comments, I highly recommend White Oleander to someone who likes and can handle SAD and disturbing books. I love it but know there's no way I'll ever be able to read it again.

(Another off-topic comment. Now "You Only Live Twice" (the song) is stuck in my head. GREAT song. :) I think I'll go listen to it after I finish this group project.)

    Thank you!!

  5. Sarah,

    I have, but it's uh...too much effort. :) I'm lazy, I guess.

Yeah, I know all about having a huge to be read pile. Mine takes up several shelves. ;)

  6. Susanne,

    That's me. Sweet. :p

Okay. And, I looked, I don't think I still have your address, so could you email it to me again?

  7. slice,

Oooh. Yeah, Evanovich is great. She's one of my favorite light reads!

  8. Sanil,

    But of course!

Yeah, I agree about White Oleander. That's why it's in the 'going away' pile. Great book, but I don't think I ever want to read it again.
