Delicious Food of Deliciousness

Hummus. So tasty. So good. Why don't more people eat it?

  1. I don't like most hummus I've tried here from the grocery store, but the freshly-made stuff in Syria was good. But my favorite was babaghanoush.

    Did you make this?

  2. Hmmm...the only hummus I've ever had is from the grocery store. The brand is...Sabra. There's no place around here that makes it fresh. We're not that cosmopolitan!

Heck no! I just found the pic online. :D

  3. we eat hoummus as we call it here, at least twice with pitta bread.

I like babaghanoush as well, more galic the better with all of this. but dont ask me to touch the aubergine once it has been cooked. I cant touch them. makes me shudder thinking about it.

  4. It's very, very tasty!

I've never had baba ganoush, though I looked it up and it does sound very good. :)

Have you ever had fried eggplant (aubergine)? It's pretty good.

  5. Sabra hummus is great. :) I actually like it better than a lot of restaurant hummus. I want to make some myself and it doesn't look too complicated, but I haven't gotten around to trying it yet. I'm not sure why people don't like it...probably just think it looks weird. I was hesitant to try it the first time.

  6. *nods* I love it lots!

It does look odd, and then you have the 'foreign' sounding name. But it's really, really good! People just need to be more adventurous!
