Based on your new theory, I'm going with the Super Sammy thing too. He's still all demony and evil! That's why no sleep. He's not human any more.
My idea is clearly superior, and would have allowed for the mother and Lucky to get together. Which I still want.
I still like Sam, I'm just not sure that this *is* Sam. I'm interested to know where they're going with this though. Even if your Boy King theory doesn't pan out, I think there's something else going on here.
