  1. I just think this meme needs places for people to elaborate. I guess that's what the comment section is for, huh? :)

So what countries have you visited? And what stupid things did you collect? Did you get handcuffed for stealing library books? ;) In what ways do you feel you have changed a lot in the past year? Whom did you see die? And what part did you play in the school play? And what wild animal did you pet?

Hope you don't mind the questions. You know me....the questioning Susie!!! :)

Thanks for doing this. I enjoyed learning a bit more about you!

  2. I think half the fun is just answering without giving any context! Keeps you guessing...

I've only ever been to Germany. A return to the Fatherland, as it were. Hah. No. I was never caught in any of my thefts. And the library books were stolen by accident, really. I think I've gotten more comfortable with me. Plus the fitness is a huge change. I saw a guy at a restaurant choke on a chicken bone. He didn't die right then and there, but he was brain dead, and they eventually took him off of life support. So I'm counting it. Oh, I don't remember the part. Probably a Pilgrim or something...I have petted snakes, turtles, fish, and a shark. Though I'm not sure you can count the shark as petting...

  3. Oh no about the person choking on a chicken bone! :-(

Glad to hear you've become more comfortable with yourself this year!

What areas in Germany did you visit? I'm curious since my uncle lived there for a while and then, of course, Samer is studying there now. He has traveled a bit throughout parts of the country. Do you speak German?

  4. It was very sad. He got the Heimlich and CPR and everything, but somehow his brain was without oxygen for too long.

Umm...I don't really remember the names. We were staying with my Uncle who lives in a little burgh somewhere near Frankfurt, but that doesn't narrow it down any! It was lots of fun, though. He took me castle seeing, and everyone there was insanely nice. I got sick, and the little town doctor saw me, and didn't charge us anything!

*waggles hand back and forth* I used to, a little. I could probably pick it up again, if I needed to, but I don't use it at all in daily life, so it's beyond rusty at this point.

  5. Aw, I love reading your experiences in Germany! Samer traveled to Frankfurt often since he lived only about 30 to 45 minutes away in Giessen. His school was in Friedburg and now he is moving to Darmstadt for an internship for 6 months. He traveled to a lot of neat place within the country. I always love seeing the pictures - such a beautiful country! Maybe one day Andrew and I will visit.
